Freedom
from Grief
Freedom from grief is effected by the correct body posture and the correct face expression. So Focus - freedom from grief program - comprises the correction of both; that, in turn, opens the third eye chakra and the crown chakra. Grief and loneliness! Almost everyone has experienced one or both of these conditions. I'm told it's the number one problem facing people today. Thousands encounter major losses in their lives daily and many never get over them. For
those of us who have experienced the lose of a loved one,
divorce, or the severing of a close relationship, a grieving
process is normal. But when tragedy strikes and the hurt is
unbearable, ignorance seizes the opportunity to try to bring
permanent bondage by causing a spirit of grief. The key to
victory, I am learning, with deep insight, is in understanding
the difference between these two conditions. One helps the
grieving person recover from the loss with the passing of
time, but the other causes us to grow worse and sink deeper
into despair. Moksha means freedom from this universal problem of 'Samsara'. What is the problem of Samsara? To put in brief, we can say the problem is Raga, Shoka and Moha. Raga means dependence, attachment. Shoka means grief, sorrow. Moha means conflict, confusion by Raga, we mean depending on external things or people or situations to be happy. As long as I depend upon people to be happy, my happiness is always in danger. Any time, that person may go away from me or die causing sorrow. Similarly, if I depend upon objects, as long as the objects are there with me, I am fine. The moment the objects go away, I am upset. Similar is the dependence upon situation, neighbourhood, surroundings etc. This tendency is called Raga. We find that Arjuna has dependence on Bhishma, Drona etc. We have our dependence upon various people around. And therefore everybody is suffering from the problem of Raga. Raga will necessarily cause shoka, sorrow. We find that situations are not under our control. The thing we depend upon deserts us. It may be money, it may be job, it may be people. If anything is not available, I become depressed. The problem of shoka is also universal. What is the path of liberation? Before this question is answered, it is desirable to solve the question what liberation is. Liberation means complete freedom from grief and pain. All unhappiness is full of restlessness. Liberation, therefore, must be without any restlessness. There is no complete happiness, i.e., liberation, as long as there is even a little of restlessness. In my weekend training session for the freedom from grief, I just correct your body posture and face expression; and the freedom from grief ensues. You discover the real physical nature of your body that instantly makes you feel full of joy and energy in yourself as a result of undergoing freedom from grief program. The only thing left, then, is to turn this personal discovery into your spontaneity - of body and mind; and the instant freedom from grief turns into the lasting freedom from grief for life! |
